For these projects, I was tasked with creating a design within a square piece of black construction paper. I then cut out the pieces with an X-ACTO blade, flipped the loose papers to the exterior of the square border, and glued them down to white poster board in order to create a positive-negative visual effect. The top piece is very nature-based, displaying various elements of the ocean, whereas the bottom piece has more of a human feel to it.
